Native App Development

Midterm Project: Animals App

For my Native App Development Midterm Project, I was tasked with creating an app using the skills I had learned so far through lessons and coursework. Using SwiftUI on Xcode, I coded the Animal App to display pictures and profiles of cute animals over three separate pages. Some of the elements I coded include navigation links, button styles, arrays, ScrollViews, and an API to display the content. A more detailed explanation of the project, as well as a narrated tour and demonstration of the app, is located on my Medium profile (click to see more!).

Jukebox: Lizzy McAlpine CD Player

For the Jukebox assignment, I used SwiftUI and Xcode to customize the look of a music-playing “jukebox.” We were tasked to create a polished version of the jukebox and also use at least one animation. I decided to choose songs from Lizzy McAlpine. The app features album covers that can be pressed to start playing the song and trigger a CD to spin on a CD player. A more detailed explanation of the project, as well as a narrated tour and demonstration of the app, is located on my Medium profile (click to see more!).
